HARRY PATTERSON
CENTRAL NY director
Harry grew up on the south side of Syracuse, NY. He went to Corcoran high school where he played high school football as a quarterback. Upon graduation, he attended Colgate University and participated in intramural sports. After graduating from Colgate, he returned to Syracuse and got involved with coaching youth football. He also began working in the Syracuse City School District as a Teaching Assistant, while pursuing his master’s degree in teaching. He worked as a teacher for over eleven years. In his final year in the District, he was called into full-time ministry employment at his church. Harry worked at Abundant Life Christian Center in East Syracuse as the Principal of its school, the Abundant Life Academy Pre-K through 6th. Afterwards, he transitioned into serving as a Community Pastor in the Pastoral Care ministry.
His interaction with Fellowship of Christian Athletes, happened when a fellow church member and friend asked him to come speak to a group of students at a local university. Several years later the opportunity from the same friend circled around again, this time with the opportunity to come on staff as an Area Director. God spoke to Harry and told him to keep walking down the road of this opportunity. Harry is looking forward to connecting with all those called to join him on his God-ordained walk to bless Central New York and its young people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Harry currently resides in Jamesville with his wife Raquel and his four children. They enjoy travel, spending time with family and watching movies.
